High Rise External Facade Cleaning

We will utilise the water fed pole cleaning method negating the need for access equipment on the exterior of the property. Access to the interior glass on the building will be gained by using steps or ladders where necessary.

Appropriate areas will be marked with warning signs. Sentries will be placed if deemed necessary. Work may be carried out (if requested) out of normal working hours to minimise disruption.

For the cleaning of external windows the following methods will be used: The water fed pole window cleaning system using water which will clean all frames and glass to a smear free sine.

For the cleaning of internal windows (where applicable) the following method will be used:

a) Water with a light detergent shall be used.
b) The window will be cleaned using a synthetic applicator, with the cleaning solution being removed with a rubber squeegee.
c) Any subsequent runs or smears will be removed with a micro-fibre cloth.

There will always be occasions when other forms of access equipment will be required. Our operators also well trained , which qualify them to operate sky lift. They are also trained and qualified to erect scaffolding and the company regularly uses its scaffold tower for high level access work.

The company works strictly within the guidelines set out in the Working at Height Regulations. Safety equipment, which complies fully with the legislation, is provided for all operatives. A safety record is held for each piece of equipment, ensuring a monthly check. Operatives are also trained to make a detailed inspection prior to each use.
